Japanese Committee on Acoustic Emission (JCAE) was originally organized in 1969 under sponsorship of the High Pressure Institute of Japan and in cooperation with the Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection (JSNDI). In 1979, JCAE became Committee 006 on Acoustic Emission of JSNDI, and currently is called the Ad Hoc Committee on Acoustic Emission. The committee of JSNDI has sponsored biennial international symposia since 1972, and published 19 proceedings of these symposia.

The symposium will be held at the Ark Hotel Kumamoto (http://kumamoto.ark-hotel.co.jp/) in Kumamoto city. Kumamoto is a major city on Kyushu's west coast with a population of 650,000. It has a long history and is known a "City of Forests" since it is blessed with an abundance of nature. Also the city is the most famous for its castle, which is located in front of the conference site. Moreover, Kumamoto could leave you feeling refreshed, thanks to crystal clear water, clean air and delicious foods all that its plentiful nature provides. Prospective authors are requested to submit a title, author’s names, affiliation and address with an abstract of 100-200 words with keywords (in English, text only) byJune 30, 2010July 11, 2010. To submit your abstract, click here.

Full papers must be received byAugust 27, 2010September 3, 2010. All papers will be reviewed by the paper and program committee. Accepted papers will be delivered orally and will be published in a conference proceedings book. - Registration Fees (including : Welcome Party and Banquet)

- Papers would be included in the symposium proceedings, only if the authors have definitely registered and made payment by September 30, 2010.
